30 Years Datalynx Group – technology, data and, above all, people
On 22 March 2026, the Datalynx Group will celebrate its 30th anniversary. Over the past three decades, not only has our company undergone fundamental changes, but so too has the entire IT world.
What began in 1996 as Datalynx GmbH, a specialist IT company, is now an internationally active group of companies with around 130 employees across more than 8 locations worldwide, all under one roof – our House of IT.
This development is also reflected in the history of the logo: the original Datalynx logo from 1996, at the very beginning of the company’s history, represented a single business. As the group has grown, its visual identity has become more modern. In 2002, Primetrack joined the group, followed by Skillcloud in 2018.
Today, all three companies present themselves with a unified brand identity and a shared colour scheme – brought together under the umbrella of the House of IT within Datalynx Group AG.

The Datalynx Group consists of three companies:
- Datalynx AG develops data-driven applications, digital platforms and bespoke software solutions for businesses undergoing digital transformation. It also provides support in the area of Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), working closely with Primetrack AG’s secure infrastructure.
-
- Primetrack AG provides a stable, secure and scalable infrastructure – from private cloud and IT security to operations and support. Primetrack will also be celebrating its 25th anniversary next year.
-
- skillcloud AG helps companies attract the right IT talent and specialists – a crucial factor for successful digitalisation.
The group also includes Loomion AG – the market leader in secure board management software – and Intesys GmbH, which has been part of the Primetrack portfolio in the IT services sector since April 2025. With subsidiaries in Austria, the Czech Republic, Portugal, the USA, India and Brazil, the Datalynx Group has an international presence.
Together, this results in an integrated approach that brings together technology, infrastructure and people. Together, we support businesses of all sizes and across all sectors in their digital transformation – from infrastructure and software to applications, right through to the people who successfully utilise these technologies.
Our anniversary is an opportunity for us to look back on our journey – and at the same time to look clearly to the future.
The journey to the House of IT
The digital world has developed rapidly over the last 30 years. Whereas the focus used to be on individual technologies or systems, today it is all about integrated digital ecosystems.
It is with this understanding in mind that the structure of the Datalynx Group has evolved. Under the umbrella of our House of IT, we bring together the expertise of several specialist companies that complement one another perfectly.
Our shared goal is to help businesses effectively integrate technology, data and people. After all, sustainable digitalisation always stems from the interplay of these three factors.
Digitalization is becoming more complex
Today, companies face a wide range of new technological and strategic challenges:
- Cloud strategies and infrastructure decisions
- Artificial intelligence and data-driven business models
- Growing cyber risks
- New regulatory requirements and GRC issues (Governance, Risk & Compliance)
Many companies invest heavily in technology – but often without a clear strategic direction.
Whether SMEs or large corporations – the challenge of implementing digitalisation with the right priorities and appropriate resources affects organisations of all sizes.
This is exactly where we come in.
The Digital Compass – orientation for the digital transformation
Drawing on over 30 years of experience, the Datalynx Group has developed a strategic model for digital transformation that helps companies find their way: the «Digital Compass».
This transformation model helps companies to plan their digital development in a structured way and implement it step by step.
The Compass does not view digitalisation as a single IT project, but as a holistic development process. Seven key themes are taken into account:
- Customer Success
- Data
- Processes
- Security & Governance
- Technology Platforms
- Analytics & Intelligence
- Operative Excellence
All these perspectives are considered as a whole. This is because digitalisation can only be sustainable if technology, organisation and data are developed in parallel.
A structured maturity model guides companies step by step from a solid foundation through to the strategic use of data, analytics and artificial intelligence.
The aim is not to rush through digitalisation, but to establish a strategically driven roadmap for sustainable transformation.
30 years of experience – looking to the future
A 30th anniversary is a special milestone. At the same time, we see it not only as an opportunity to look back on what we have achieved, but also as motivation for the years ahead.
For the digital transformation is only just entering a new phase – characterised by:
- Artificial Intelligence
- Data-driven business models
- Increasing demands for security and resilience
- New regulatory framework
The Datalynx Group draws on the expertise of its House of IT to help businesses successfully overcome these challenges.
Our commitment remains the same as it has been since our foundation:
Helping companies to use technology strategically and create sustainable digital value.
The anniversary logo – three stripes that connect

To mark our 30th anniversary, we have created a striking anniversary logo. The three coloured stripes in the logo represent our three companies – Datalynx, Primetrack and Skillcloud.
They symbolise what makes our group special: a range of skills that come together at the House of IT and, when combined, achieve more than they would individually.
At the same time, the stripes also symbolise what has bound us to our customers for 30 years: trust, collaboration and mutual growth.
An anniversary year full of insights
We won’t be celebrating our anniversary on just one day. Throughout the year, we’ll be sharing insights into our history, our work and the people behind the Datalynx Group.
This is not just about the past – but above all about how companies can successfully shape their digital future.
We would like to thank all our customers, partners and staff who have journeyed with us so far – and we look forward to writing the next chapters together.
